Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT 2024
- Nationality : As per the Indian Citizenship Act of 1955, the applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- Age criteria :-
- Flying Branch : Candidates must be between 20 to 24 years old (born between 02/01/2001 to 01/01/2005).
- Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) : Candidates must fall within the age range of 20 to 26 years (born between 02/01/1999 to 01/01/2005)
- Educational Qualification :-
- Ground Duty (Technical – Aeronautical engineering (Electronics)) : Aspiring candidates need to secure a minimum of 60% marks in physics and mathematics at the 10+2 level and hold a degree in graduation/post-graduate in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university.
- Flying Branch & Ground Duty (Non-technical) : Candidates must have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in physics and mathematics at the 10+2 level, along with a three-year graduation degree OR a BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognized University.
