Important dates of Indian Post GDS recruitment 2024
The official notification of Indian Post GDS recruitment 2024 is expected to release on 15th June 2024 after that application for procedure will also start accordingly. Currently department have ordered to all the 23 zones to prepare vacant seats of GDS in different departments between 6 to 9 July. After that all the information will be submitted to the Indian post office and the vacant seats list will be published by the Indian post office on 15th June onwards.
After that eligible candidates can apply online for approximately 1 month. However, the date of releasing result of Indian Post GDS recruitment 2024 will be released in official notification.
Eligibility for Indian Post GDS recruitment 2024
Before applying for the post you should check the eligibility criteria which have mentioned in this section after that you can apply accordingly:
- Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak and ABPM/ BPM.
- The minimum age of the applicant should be at least 18 years old while applying for the post and the maximum age should not be more than 40 years old. However candidates belong to reserve categories will get age relaxation for 3 years to 10 years accordingly.
- Candidate should be at least 10th pass for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak. However, if you are applying for the post of branch post manager then you should pass at least 12th class from recognize board.
- Candidates are required to pay 100 rupees application fees while applying for the GDS post in Indian post office. However, candidates belong to SC ST category, OBC category and female from all categories are exempted to pay the application fees.

Salary in Indian Post GDS recruitment 2024

Gramin Dak Sevak have also a good salary package where candidate will be provided 10000 rupees per month at the starting. However, it will go up to more than 24000 rupees per month.
